Blashing Widgets
What's been happening since the last Blashing - Blazing Story update and the original Beginning of Blashing, well it was just dependency updates from Dependabot then in June 2025 I updated it to .NET 9. A few months later in Oct I moved a majority of the work into a Shared Project #211 so I could re-use it in either a Client or Server app. Saves a lot of duplication.

AutoDarts .NET
Having upgraded my 🏷️darts setup of course I wanted to build a tool around it, so I looked into an auto scoring system and found AutoDarts which has an API!
🎯 Darts
Back when I passed my G.C.S.E.s many moons ago I got a dart board and some Eric Bristow darts. It was a staple game played in my Gran's garage for many years. It since moved with me to various houses then it was up in my garage for a number of years. Must have gotten damaged as I bought a new one with a cabinet. That lost the will in weather so I thought let's move in doors.
Visualisations in Blazor
A person I admire greatly is Sam Rose @samwho. The effort and attention to detail they put into making content is beyond good. The articles are well thought out and very easy to digest, especially with the visualisations!

Utility Kotlin
For the past 10+ years I've been building a Utility app to speed up day to day tasks. It started with a VB.NET version for encoding/decoding HTML to help with log files in Symantec Workflow. It grew with other functionality include SQL generation etc. From that I used the opportunity to build a macOS app to try out my Objective-C ability on a desktop app, instead of the iOS apps I'd been building. To make it more accessible I created a Web version then swapped to WPF and finally a Blazor one a few years after that. Having switched back to Java and now Kotlin dev, in the past couple of years, it seemed a good opportunity to try my hand at Kotlin Multiplatform. Having seen the power of WASM with Blazor it was a no brainer. Hopefully I can actually find the time to build multiple apps but for now I just wanted a web version with the first utility being a Duration parser.
